The Lumby & District Wildlife Association is pleased to share the success of this year’s Annual Mabel Lake Fishing Derby, held this past weekend under clear skies and warm, sunny conditions.

The event welcomed a fantastic turnout, bringing together anglers, families, and community members for a weekend that highlighted not only great fishing, but also the strong spirit of the region. From early morning casts to the final weigh-ins, the derby was filled with enthusiasm, connection, and appreciation for the outdoors.
