Lumby/Mabel Lake Snowmobile Association had a fun filled Family Day on Saturday, January 28th. There were over 65 kids who enjoyed riding the track at the Salmon Trail on sleds donated by various members of the club. For some of the kids it was the very first time in a snowmobile! Vernon Search and Rescue for providing goodies and showcased some of their equipment. Jitter Beans Coffee House provided a delicious lunch of hot dogs, beef dip, donuts and drinks! Avaware, avalanche skills training school, provided an activity for the kids to try their safety skills.
