What Do You Call A Bear With No Teeth A Gummy Bear!
Well the USA is in a precarious position and the latest votes have brought back Democratic support in large numbers. Which hopefully indicates the progressive downfall of Trump. But he can still stroke his ego with some memorable disasters not only to the USA but to most of the world. He can also take pride in being a convicted felon and a sexual predator and still made it into office. He has alienated many of the members of the Republican Party people who believed and trusted him as well as many World Leaders that look down their noses at him while they manipulate him and his authority. He has brutalized people of colour and of different ethnic persuasions. He denies people of need access to a program called ‘SNAP’ while he spends outrageous money on an outrageous ball room and while many are not being paid for the work they are doing to try to keep the country functioning things like Airlines, Coast Guard. Then they send in renegade soldiers to arrest and harass innocent Americans just wanting to do their jobs. This will have an enormous impact on the American people for years to come while he and his family bend every rule to amass billions of dollar. Way to go Trumpy!
I nearly have all the leaves blown off my lawn and that pleases me to no end. The weather is expected to be nice for a short while yet but as a rule when all the leaves are off my Silver Maple the snow is very near. We harvested our cattle this last week and have buried the offal and as I usually do I collect the skulls and place them in the same place to de-flesh over the winter. This year it’s turned out a little different. A Grizzly Bear has found my stash and now has become a bit of a pest. First it came and managed to carry off two of the skulls and bend down my no climb fence, then it came back and dug into the very deep pit, and snacked a bit more and pulled down more of my fence. So we buried the offal again and put the excavator on top of the area. Thinking that the only way he could dig another hole again was to start up the machine and move it but oh no he just dug down alongside the pit till he got what he wanted causing the machine to tilt and a massive whole again. So we have put up a game camera and hope to get some pictures of the beast before we move the whole works way down the property bury it again and spray a mixture of Oil of Winter Green over the burial pit. He’s welcome to the remainder but just not in the back yard. Wish me well he’s a crafty devil.
This last Tuesday was Remembrance Day and hopefully many were able to attend the Ceremony at the Oval here in Lumby. Your Poppy should be worn on the left side of the heart. This is a show of respect, pride and to honour the many people who fought and died to protect our freedom. The Poppy should not be worn after.
