Planting Your Future

On Earth Day, April 22, 2023, Lumby Lions Doug & Karen Braun, Julia Jones, Smiley Greeno, Linda Vlasveld, Mike Takahashi and Doug Jones planted 25 Douglas Fir saplings along the new section of the Salmon Trail.  As each tree grows and matures, it will clean the air by storing carbon dioxide in it’s fibre AND provide a day’s supply of oxygen for 3 people.
