Notes From the Lumby Public Market – April 30, 2021

This is getting exciting!   Only a couple more weeks. I can’t wait to see all of you again.

The Lumby and District Public Market will be opening on May 8 2021and it will run until Thanksgiving weekend 2021 at the Oval Park

These are the dates we are planning, unless things and dates are changed by Dr. Bonnie Henry.

We are still following the COVID 19 rules. You will still see pylons and sanitizers. Please follow the arrows. All vendors will have sanitizer at their tables, as well with sanitizing tables down the path where the pylons will be placed, All vendors will wear a face mask covering their mouth and nose, unless they have a piece of plexiglass between you and them. It is recommended that patrons wear a mask as well, but that is up to the individual person as we are outside. Unless it becomes mandatory through Bonnie Henry and or Interior Health.

For the patrons please do not touch everything, if you do then  use the sanitizers again that are provided. Do not hang around and chat for a long time, so that other patrons can go to a booth as well.

Do not come to the market if you are feeling unwell, or if you have been around someone lately that is not well.

By respecting these regulations will have a fun, and safe market for everyone.

If you would like to be a vendor contact Colleen at our new email address:

All vendors must sign the Assumption of risk form which will be supplied to you when you become a vendor.
