The next general meeting of the Monashee 50+ Club will be held on Thursday, December 11th at 2:00 p.m.
Don’t forget Tuesday night Bingo. The new board has arrived and, from reports I have heard, it is great. Remember there is a Christmas Bingo at the OAP Hall on Saturday, December 13th Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and games start at 6:00 p.m. The $5.00 buy in gets you a seat, a drink, and 2 Bingo cards. There will be a prize for the’ Ugly Sweater’. There is limited seating so please register by December 8th. Please contact Rose at 250-306-0859.
Please join the Lumby Fire Department on Saturday, November 29th, at the Freshmart parking lot where they once again will be generously giving of their time to collect gifts and donations. The boxes for donations are out and can be found in the following locations: Sisters, Fields, Ida Pharmacy. Jitter Beans, Ace Hardware, Rusty Spur, Lumby Food Bank, and the OAP Hall. The last day to make donations into the boxes is December 17, 2025.
Also remember that the fundraiser for Hospice House is being held at the OAP Hall on November 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is a worthy cause so it would be great if they had a good turnout.
The decorating of the Hall for Christmas will be held on Thursday, November 27th, at 1:00 p.m.

The Monashee 50+ Club has an elderly piano looking for a loving home. It has served us well but it is time for it to move on as it is not being used and, alas, we no longer have room for it. If you wish to have the piano, you can just come and get it at the OAP Hall. Please contact Cindy at 250-306-5381 to arrange a pickup time.
