Howdy! There is a great deal to share this week as we just had our “Annual General Meeting” last Friday! Approximately 27 members attended and elections were held for four Director’s positions. Lauren Cox and Nancy House held current positions and agreed to let their name stand once again, along with new members who allowed their names to stand – Pam Dyrda, Marie Fisher, and Connie Paulson. The members voted and Lauren, Pam, Marie and Connie were nominated which, completed our Executive. Cindy Derry- President, Beth Mackie- Secretary/Treasurer, Norma Bouzek – Director continue in their positions for another year. Congratulations to you all! If you haven’t already renewed your membership for 2024 you may do so at any time. Membership for the 2024 year is $20.00. Please contact Cindy or any of the executive if wishing to renew or to join. I would like to remind everyone that our General Meetings are held every second Friday of each month at 2:00 pm.
A few people have been wondering what activities take place at our Hall. So, here is a quick overview of what goes on:
MONDAY – Quilting: 9:00 am -3:30pm, Pool: 12 noon – 3:00 pm.
TUESDAY – Bingo: doors open at 5:00 game starts at 6:00pm
WEDNESDAY– Art Classes: 5:30 – 8:00 pm
THURSDAY – Pool: 12 noon, Senior Sassy Social: 1st &3rd Thursday from 6:00 -8:00 pm. FRIDAY – Fiber Friday: 10:00 am – noon. We have a sheet with all the above activities posted on our board just to the right of the door of the hall, which may help when you are dropping by! Our Luncheon is today with doors opening at 11:00 am, lunch being served at 11:30! Price is $10.00! Take outs are available! Please call by 11:00 am and please don’t come until 12 noon if you are picking up your meal. But remember, we also deliver! Oh yes – lunch is cabbage rolls, pirogies, sausage and a delicious, healthy dessert!!
