Thursday, June 20th is our next lunch and last until September. Doors open at 11:00 and lunch begins at 11:30. I believe it’s chicken, salads, dessert, coffee and tea, door prizes—all for $10. We are down several volunteers with relocations so please lend a hand, call Connie Paulson at 250-306-9841
The hall during Lumby Days is breakfast from 7:30am-11am Sat.+Sun. ($10 min donation, $20 for family) Rest area, noon until 4pm There will be NO BINGO this year!! Concession both days is 12pm-4pm and volunteers are needed for the breakfasts. We have loaded cheese burgers and fries $15.00, hot dogs are $5.00. We also have snacks, cold drinks, coffee, tea and water at affordable prices. You are welcome to come and sit inside to cool off in the air conditioning or get out of the rain and warm up or just visit. Call Loren Cox to give them a hand 250-540-5186
Remember to pick up tickets for the fund Raiser for the Lumby Health Services at $5 per ticket with great prizes—if your Duck comes in. While you’re there buying your tickets check out their Run Clinics coming up. Run. Walk. Roll

Beth Mackie, our Secretary/Treasurer is journeying north and “hoping to experience the Summer Solstice in Dawson City, Yukon on June 20th.” I think the bugs won’t be a problem as they will still be trying to thaw out!
We are finished with our General Meetings now until September. I’m sure everyone will enjoy their summer.
