The Monashee 50+ Club general meeting will be held on Thursday, February 13th, at 10:00 am. Jenny Pinsonneault, Seniors Services Coordinator from Whitevalley Community Resource Centre, will be guest speaker. All are welcome.
Apologies to those who tried to attend the Saturday Market on February 8th. There were insufficient vendors to open the market. I apologize for giving the wrong contact number for the market. The correct one is Nancy, at 250-558-7087.
The next luncheon will be held on Thursday, February 20th. The menu will consist of pork roast, applesauce, roasted potatoes and gravy, garden salad, bun, and a delicious brownie treat. The meal costs $10 and will be served at noon. There will be a ‘guest speaker’ from the Age Friendly Community Action Plan group to talk to guests and answer questions. For takeout orders, please contact Connie at 250-306-9841 the day before.
Don’t forget Tuesday night Bingo. Doors open at 5:00 pm, card sales begin at 5:30 pm, and games start at 6:30 pm.
