The Monashee 50+ Club wishes to extend a huge thank you to the Lumby Fire Department for their invaluable help in making the 2024 Toy Drive such a huge success. The Monashee 50+ Club is respectful of those in need and works closely with schools and especially the Food Bank to make sure that as many children as possible get gifts for Christmas. The Club is thankful to those who have already contributed and will continue to accept donations until December 15th.
Toy distribution is slated for December 22nd. Contact persons are Norma at 778-212-2397 or Cindy at 250-306-6381.
Don’t forget that Thursday, December 19TH is the December OAP MEAL where a full turkey dinner will be served at noon for a cost is $10. For take-out orders, please contact Connie at 250-306-9841 the day before the meal.
CHRISTMAS BINGO has sold out and the last Tuesday Bingo of the year will be Tuesday, December 17th, 2024. Bingo will resume on Tuesday, January 7th.
SATURDAY MARKET, December 7th, had some new vendors and it was a success. There will be no more markets this year but Saturday Market will resume in 2025.
