A big thanks to Lauralee and her helper Caleb for hosting the sign making night down at the legion last Friday. Thanks to everyone who came and dressed up and for all the laughs, what a great evening!
We also had our staff Christmas party last Saturday and boy did we have fun! Thanks to everyone who came and brought such good food and gifts!
Coming up this month we have:
Friday Dec 13: Christmas karaoke, Christmas swag edition! Wear your best/ugliest Christmas outfit and come sing the night away! Starts at 8pm and runs until 11pm.
Saturday Dec 14 is the bonus turkey meat-draw which th 4 chances to win your Christmas turkey! Doors open at 2pm, seats fill fast so hurry down for a chance to win turkey dinner this year!
Sunday Dec 15 is shuffleboard. Register at 12:40pm and games start at 1:20pm. Everyone is welcome to join in this fun league! 19+
Wednesday Dec 18th is our General Meeting. The meeting is held downstairs of the legion in the lounge. Meeting starts at 6pm.
Thursday Dec 19 is the Christmas party for all our dart players. So bring an appie and don’t forget to wear your best Christmas outfit/swag!
Dec 21 is our final 5x bonus turkey draws!! Come on down for your best chances of winning that Christmas dinner!
Wednesday Dec 25, Christmas Day!! wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas from all of us down at the Legion!
Dec 26 – Boxing Day Bash! 2-6ish (tentative, watch for more information!) Sunday Dec 29 is Shuffleboard. 12:40pm register, 1:20pm play.
Tuesday Dec 31 we will be hosting a New Years Eve party, open jam style, so bring your instruments or singing voice and help us ring in the New Year. We will have games, prizes and even safe rides home (locally). Party starts at 7pm, music starts at 8pm! We will also have food being served too, stay tuned for our menu!

If you are looking for a space to host a special event, the legion has a hall upstairs you can rent out. They also have tables and chairs available to rent. You can contact Lori at the Legion at (250) 547-2338 or by email rcl167bc@shaw.ca for more information and prices. Office hours are Monday through Wednesday from 9am to noon.
