Well we managed to get through the last of the winter storms relatively unscathed, that is if your weren’t going to the coast. Things are getting better, pretty soon we’ll working in our gardens.
I’ve been critical of those who don’t get the facts right. Well here I go, I originally said that the Karaoke was on the 12th of March because I didn’t check the calender. The Karaoke is actually on March 10th. Sorry about the error.
On March 11th we are holding the men’s in house pool tournament. The fee’s are $5.00, registration at 10:00 play starts at 10:30. The ladies and mixed doubles tournament is on April 1st.
The reason for the Saint Paddies Karaoke is on the 10th is because on the 17th half of our karaoke team will be in Summerland playing crib at the Provincial Cribbage play downs. Good luck to Roy and the rest of the team, maybe our players will get to the Dominion finals again. On to darts John Kevener from our Legion is the Zone darts Singles champion. He will be going to Cloverdale to play in the Provincial Darts Shoot. Good luck John maybe you’ll get Dominion Finals as well. Don’t forget the Gramma and Grampa dart shoot on May 15th. The next shuffleboard is on March 19th register at noon play starts at 1:00 pm.
The next general meeting is on March 15 at 7:00 pm. The executive meeting is at 6:00 pm. Please make every effort to be there.
