Well winter is almost over. Pretty soon we will be out getting the yard cleaned up and preparing the garden for planting.
The date for the Karaoke has been set it is on March 15th. It starts at 8:00pm and goes until 11:00pm. There are the Jam Sessions on Thursday afternoons still going on and Darts Thursday nights. The next Shuffleboard is this Sunday March 3rd. The last Shuffleboard of the season is on March 17. The registration for both dates is 12:30 pm and play starts at 1:15. There might be a potluck on the 17th we will find out on Sunday.
We are planning a Music Bingo night in April, the date isn’t set yet. Also there are some board games planned for Fridays in March and April, those dates haven’t been set yet either. Stay tuned to the next articles. There is going to be another Twelve Hours of Music event planned on May 11th . We will let you know who is playing later on.
This Saturday the Cherryville PAC will be hosting the Meat Raffle please come on out and support them. And on April 13th the Lumby Health Services Society will be hosting the Meat Raffle. The Lumby Health Services Society are the people who operate the Clinic in Lumby. They need all of the support we can give them. That’s an expensive building to operate.
In the next General Meeting we will be swearing in the executive. Past Officers metals and year pins will be given out. Donald J. Bloomfield, Stewart Deconnick and Shane Knelsen will receive Affiliate year pins. Barbara Cook, Mike Cowan, Cindy Smith, Cori Smith, Levi Smith and Cyrilla Zimmerman are receiving Associate year pins. And Guy Legare and Edith Thorson will receive Ordinary year pins. Please all of you make every effort to attend the meeting. The meeting times have now changed. The meetings now start at 6:00 pm.
