Do you ever play those games that get your brain working, using your eyes and your concentration, making you think? I love those brain games, I play them a lot, there are a few that take me a bit of time to figure out, but eventually of course I do. So, I thought I would play a small one with you.
Tim and I went for a walk yesterday around the trailer park. It was minus 2, a little bit cold on the face but our jackets kept us warm enough. There was a tree that had a lot of birds on it, I took a few different pictures as the birds came and went. In one photo there were sparrows, red and yellow finches, and chickadees. The last photo I took had the most birds in it, some of the yellow finches and chickadees had left. There may still be one or two, but the majority is the sparrows and red finches.
How many birds do you see in the photo? Some of them are very visible while others are hidden in the branches.
This is a game that will help to wake you up as you drink your morning coffee or whatever while you relax and read the Lumby Valley Times.
My count is 24, I will put a photo of the birds in the tree marked out in red circles in next week’s column, you might find more than I did, you might find less, you may even find the same amount.
