The founders of Forever Home Sanctuary, Angie and Ron, have created, a local to Vernon, rescue and sanctuary for farm animals (and humans)!
Their mission is to provide a healthy, caring, loving and safe home to abused, neglected or farm animals that need to be re-homed like goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, pigs and donkeys! A Forever Home!
Their vision is to create a farm animal sanctuary in order to care for and act as advocates on behalf of farm animals. To educate and create a healing and bonding environment between them and people!
Farm animals have a magical way to our heart and the power to heal our soul. We want to create a safe haven for abused and neglected farm animals and a place where people not only get educated on farm animals but also for a moment, they escape from the daily stress and allow their hearts to heal.
They heal them and they heal us!
Angie and Ron are excited to be the first farm animal sanctuary in our community and even more excited to be opening our doors to the public this year! If you are looking for a place to visit, they would love to have over.
Starting on June 3rd, and every weekend until fall, they will be offering private, guided tours. During the tour, you will be able to learn about the sanctuary and its residents, as well as interact with them as they all are free on the property.
