Dr. Seuss Style
Christmas time is around the corner, it’s a time to be merry and festive, but to avoid rounder hips, listen to these great tips!
- 1. Don’t debate the plate, trick the brain into thinking it’s great! Fill a smaller plate, the brain won’t know the difference, and your stomach won’t pass its circumference
- 2. Choose your food wisely, a small portion of this and more of that, a bit of fat and a tad of that; will let you enjoy all there is by choosing to do this: Less potatoes, more veggies, half a bun, a fist full of turkey, a splat of cranberry, and a tip of gravy.
- 3. When it comes to desserts, we want to eat all, but know it will hurt, with our stomachs bloated and waistline exploded. To enjoy every piece and to be sufficed, try this little bit of advice; half or a quarter is always more fun, as each one can be tasted and not overdone.
- 4. To avoid acting dumb by drinking too much rum, or whatever the toddy, drink 1 cup of water each time you go potty.
- 5. Don’t forget to exercise your body, not only your jaw, as when you keep moving the appetite will fall. Less cravings of food, no bloating or aching, a surge of good energy to help you keep going.
- 6. Last minute gift don’t know what to do?? Buy the gift of health for your loved one or a friend or two. Skip the scale drama, learn what really counts, DEEM’s Biggest Loser — With a Twist is where change amounts.
- 7. Start together on a team, speakers, nutrition, accountability through and through,
Or maybe the best gift this season might just be you, working on our 4 pillars that are tried and true. - 8. However, you celebrate, through worship or grace, Christmas movies, family and friends, games and traditions or Mercedes Benz. Whatever it is that you do, for whatever the reason, remember it’s the loved ones who make the season. The food and drink are all wonderful and well, but not to make you feel like hell.
- 9. Merry Christmas well wishes and Happy New Year to all!
