Both teams battled hard through a fast-paced five-minute 3-on-3 overtime, creating several scoring chances but ultimately remaining tied and forcing a shootout.
In the shootout, Indy Hardy scored the first shootout goal, with the second shooters both being stopped by both net minders. Arya Church, sealed the victory and secured the gold medal for the Lakers.
