To the Editor,
Citizens who own firearms, like myself, obey the Countries Laws. We see no reason to spend Millions of bucks.
“Suppressing” us, we need equipment to fight these fires, not some Kite flyer dumping a Piss Pot on a Fire that destroys property and Lives. We as Citizens should be witness to a CIRCUS OF FLYING WATER BOMBERS.
Equipment designed especially for Forest Fire control, but what do we see on the local News?? It’s embarrassing to say the least.
If we ACTUALLY HAD A MILITARY, to fight Fires, it would be a benefit, but flying small craft above a fire and trying to appear as if it just might help suppress, or eliminate Forest Fires that destroy thousands of usable Timber, and Citizens ability to continue to live a life free from this fear is LUDICROUS AT BEST AND those who carelessly start fires should feel the “heat”, and succumb to adequate pressure of the Law!
The bone head we have as a leader, will spend Millions if not Billions on issues that will NOT benefit “ordinary” Law obeying citizens. Canadians who desire to live their lives, free from Government harassment and unfair treatment, all the while this “soft on Crime” crap is the image and desire of Idiots!
