The society is needing to replace the imaging (X-ray) equipment and software at a cost of $160,000 and is fundraising for this effort. The Monashee Community Forest has committed to provide $5,000 in funding each year for the next 5 years for a total of $25,000!
The Lumby & District Health Services Society works diligently to keep the doctors and the Health Unit in Lumby working with up to date equipment. The Health Unit services not only Lumby residents, but Area D, Area E, Edgewood and Lavington residents!
