The Finale!

What Do You Get When You Cross A Snow Man With A Vampire?… Frost Bite!

This is the last Sam’s Garden for the year. I will now focus on making my Christmas Gifts, and making my Christmas Crackers and finishing up the last of my Christmas Lights. Then I hope to settle in on the couch to watch my favourite Christmas Movies.

Many of us grew up watching Miracle on 34th Street, Elvis’s Christmas Movie, Blue Hawaii, It’s a Wonderful Life and Home Alone, that’s showing some age.

My personal favourite being A Christmas Carol and although I’m not a big black and white fan it is the only rendition of this movie filmed in 1951 starring Alister Simms that I find worthy. I watch it every year and love it even more each year.

It astounds me that without modern special effects that they produced such a movie so well produced, acted, the cinematography is bar none and the story is amazing! It evokes laughter and tears and is a favourite of my entire family.

I am of course hoping for a White Christmas but not enough to have to fire up the snow blower. Bah Humbug. The snow can wait until January and February as we do need the moisture.

Thank You All for your support and encouragement through out 2025. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I know I’ve included this with an article before but I always think of it as an accurate weather forecast as any.

John’s Weather Forecasting Stone

This is inexpensive, accurate and available to all. Suspend a rock several feet our from a wall where it will be exposed to the weather. This is how you read your forecast.
