On the Road Again

U18 Lumby Stars, sponsored by Valley Wood, were on the road this week for 3 late evening games.  First stop was at Priest Valley arena against Vernon 1 – Murray which they won 14-2.  Player of the game jacket went to affiliated player Kobe Maltman pulled up for the evening due to a short bench. Kobe earned two assists for the night.  James Wraight earned the win between the pipes.  The U18 team had their first tie of the year against Salmon 3 – Sherman late Saturday night.  Tyra Cunningham was in net with a 5-5 final. Player of the game jacket went to Ryder Quibell. The U18 Lumby Stars finished up the weekend in Winfield with James Wraight earning another  shutout in net and the team winning 13-0.  

The U18 Lumby Stars have two home games coming up this weekend. Saturday, January 29 @ 1:00-2:45 against Vernon 3 – Joe.  They will face off against Salmon Arm 2 – Gervais at Pat Duke Memorial arena Sunday, January 30 at 1:45-3:30.
