Bunny was born in Edmonton, Alberta on May 19, 1927.
She lived in the Yukon for a few years, then off to Vancouver where she met her husband Peter. They were both only children and never had any of their own, preferring animals over children.
They raised cattle in Sheridan Lake for a time before moving to Lumby.
After 30 or more years in Lumby, they sold their house on Brookfield Road and moved into a town house in Vernon.
Peter passed away on May 5, 2020. Bunny was lucky enough to have spent the last few months in the care of the Mews in Lumby. We can’t say enough about how grateful we are for the kindness and care she was given.
Also, Dr. Barss, who Bunny was very fond of, for taking her back as her Doctor.
Bunny passed away on January 31, 2025 at the great age of 97.
