It was a little damp this past Saturday at the market, but luckily the downpour waited until the market was done and everyone had left, no vendor got stuck in it. Which is great, it’s gross when we have to pack up in the rain.
But that’s ok as so far they are calling for good weather this coming Saturday for our very famous Butter Tart festival. I know a lot of you just can’t wait, I don’t blame you. All the delicious different kinds of Butter Tarts that will make your mouth water with anticipation
Joy will be there with her Mexican food, and probably Butter Tarts as well. The United Church will be there with hot dogs, and other foods.
The car show will be there showing off all their beautiful cars, the Square dancers will be there for your entertainment, and you could also have a couple of dances with them too if you want.
Although the contest for the Butter Tarts is open at 8:00 am for the contestants, the market will be on its regular times of 9:00 am-1:00 pm. The vendors do not start to sell anything until 9:00 am when the market is open to the public, to be fair to the vendors that are still setting up during the contest time, please respect the vendors by not asking them to sell anything before 9:00 am
