Last Saturday was great at the market, the weather was a little chilly in the morning, but it did warm up. We had a couple of new vendors, and a good crowd coming through.
I would like to remind everyone that we will not have a market next Saturday June 15 as Lumby days will be happening, but you can come to Lumby days and see a lot of your favourite vendors there. During the parade of Lumby Days you will see one of our volunteer music people there on a float, Murray Freeman has been named “Citizen Of The Year” be sure to wave at him as he goes by and congratulate him for this great honour. Murray also volunteers at the Museum, and helps out other people and services as well. This honour of being “Citizen Of The Year” is well deserved. Congratulations MURRAY!!!!
On Monday July 1 2024 Canada Day, the Lumby Chambers will be having a Canada celebration at the Oval Park from 10:00 am -2:00 pm, the Lumby and District Public market will be there as well on Saturday June 29th and on July 1 2024
