Notes from the Lumby Public Market – July 31, 2020

What a great turn out we had this past Saturday at the Lumby and District Public Market. It was so good to see everyone again.

Thank you all for coming.

Everything had changed this year, we had plyons and ropes, tables with hand sanitizer, arrows on the ground for entering and exiting, and everyone followed all of these  changes it was great.

We had a lot of new vendors, and of course our regular  vendors.

This week I would like to introduce you to our vendor of the week, Samantha (Sam) Nason. Sam is our flower lady, she also will sell you herbs, and vegetables all grown in her amazing green house.

Always ready with a smile, this beautiful lady can answer most of your questions about flowers, and what’s eating them. Sam can tell you how to properly look after the flowers in your gardens, so they won’t wilt and die, and what type of fertilizer they need and how often. If Sam doesn’t have what you want at her well displayed table, just ask her she will probably have it in her greenhouse, or at our local Co-Op.

Sam does not only know flowers, this bright. intelligent  woman is also very quick with a joke, and very friendly. You can stop by her table anytime and have a chat with her.
