Hello once again! This past week flew by so quickly, I find myself often having a difficult time keeping up! We just got home from the Rock Creek Fair, which is really a wonderful country fair! Many of the vendors attending the IPE were there along with the midway, and of course cattle! Their 4-H program is amazing!
On another note, we would like to invite you to our monthly Luncheon which is happening today, Thursday September 21st with doors opening at 11:00 am and lunch being served at 11:30! The price is $10.00 and we are serving roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, peas, beet salad and carrot cake for dessert! We would like to remind you about coming early due to the limited seating capacity of 50 people. We will continue with our door prizes and look forward to seeing you attend! As well, we will be providing take outs which we would be happy to deliver. Please call before 11:00 am, if interested. If you would rather pick up your meal, then please come to the front door at 12 noon and we will have it ready for you.
We still haven’t heard when our Bingo licence will be issued, which is quite disappointing as it not only is a wonderful social gathering, but it also is a marvelous money maker for our club! Also, I haven’t had any word when the fall programs will begin, which includes Theater Group, Community Arts, Sassy Seniors, and Chair Yoga. Pool, as usual is on Monday and Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It is free to members. It was recommended that anyone playing pool who is not a paid up OAP Monashee 50+ member be charged $2.00.
