The Annual General Meeting of the Monashee 50+ Club will be held on November 13th at 2:00 p.m. There will be elections for Secretary, Treasurer, and two Directors followed by the monthly general meeting. Membership for the year 2026 is $20.00, payable by January 31st, 2026. Please get in touch with Cindy Derry if you need further information
Although it is still October, before we know it, the Christmas season will be upon us. It is a good time to think about helping out. The Monashee 50+ Club is accepting Santa’s toy and gift donations for both children and teens, especially teens between 16 and 18. The Lumby Fire Department will be doing their blitz on November 29th at the Freshmart parking lot. Please contact Cindy at 250- 306-6381 for further information.
Don’t forget the OAP Bingo. Volunteers for Bingo are still needed -at the front, for calling, and for the concession. If you can help, please contact Rose at 250-306-0859 or come to the Hall on Tuesday nights.
Volunteers are always needed, and appreciated, especially at this time of the year. We still need help at Bingo and monthly luncheons and will soon need help with the Toy Run and with Hall decorating on November 28th.
The Annual Christmas Party will be on December 6th. Please contact Cindy Derry at 250-306-6381 to reserve a place as seats are limited.
