The next meeting of the Monashee 50+ Club will be held on Thursday, October 9th, at 2:00 p.m. The guest speaker will be Doug Edgar who will talk to us about COSCO (Council of Senior Citizens Organizations).
Membership in the Monashee 50+ Club for the year 2026 is $20.00, payable by January 31st, 2026. Contact Cindy Derry at 250-306-6381.
Starting in October, the Monashee 50+ Club will be accepting Santa’s toy and gift donations for both children and teens. Final plans for the Toy Run Day are presently being solidified. Please stay tuned for further information.
Don’t forget to check out Bingo. The Monashee 50+ Club is having a trial run this year to find out if there is enough interest in having Saturday Bingo in the new year. There will be Bingo on Saturday, October 18th. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and games begin at 6:00 p.m. The concession will be open.
The Monashee 50+ Club will have an information table at the Seniors Wellness and Food Fair, Tuesday, October 21st, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the White Valley Community Centre. There will be a professional guest speaker, fun activities, food demonstrations (foods and meals information), prizes, and information booths.
