Don’t forget to mark Thursday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. on your busy Christmas season calendar as the time of the next general meeting of the Monashee 50+ Club.
Remember: Tuesday night Bingo. Doors don’t open until 5:00 p.m. and games start at 6:00 p.m. A special Christmas Bingo will be held on Saturday, December 13. Your $5.00 buy in will provide you a seat, a drink, and 2 Bingo cards. There will be an ’Ugly Sweater’ prize. There is limited seating so please register by December 8th by contacting Rose at 250-306-0859.
We would like to give a big thank you to the Lumby Fire Department for so generously giving of their Saturday to collect gifts and donations to make Christmas more enjoyable for the children and teens of the village. IF you missed out on their collection day, there are donation boxes in the following locations: Sisters, Fields, Ida Pharmacy, Jitter Beans, Ace Hardware, Rusty Spur, Lumby Food Bank, and the OAP Hall. The last day to make donations into the boxes is December 17, 2025.
A reminder that the elderly piano at the OAP Hall still needs a loving home. It has been tuned recently and sounds very good. If you wish to have the piano, you can just come and get it at the OAP Hall. Please contact Cindy at 250-306-5381 to arrange a pickup time.
