Harold Major (1936-2025) was born in Lumby, graduated from high school in Lumby and spent most of his working years in Lumby.  He married Lola in in 1957 and together they would raise 9 children: Dennis, Joan, David, Fred, James, Philip, Susan, Will  and Erin.

Harold started his working days at Bell Pole right after graduation and finished his career as the owner/operator of Major Trucking.  He was a trusted and active member of Lumby’s Sacred Heart Catholic Church and always the “go to” guy whenever something needed attention in the church.  We will miss you Harold.
