This past Saturday, December 13, the U7 Lumby Stars proudly hosted seven visiting teams for a fun-filled day of hockey at home. Our young athletes took to the ice for two exciting games, first facing off against the Vernon Choppers and then the West Kelowna Puck Monsters. While no scores were kept, the focus was clear: learning, teamwork, and enjoying the game.
Throughout both games, the U7 team played with tremendous heart, sportsmanship, and determination. The players showed great effort in skating, passing, and supporting one another, all while demonstrating respect for their teammates and opponents alike. With the emphasis on skill development rather than winning, the kids embraced every shift as an opportunity to grow and have fun—and their smiles said it all.
