Welcome to 2025! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!
New Year’s Eve was a huge success! A HUGE thank-you goes out to all the volunteers who made it possible (there were a lot!) and to everyone who came out and supported the Legion, it was a fantastic evening had by all!
Some upcoming events for the week are:
Sunday, January 12th- Shuffleboard. Registration is from 12:30pm-1:00pm, play starts at 1:15pm. You don’t have to be a member to play, everyone is welcome to join! 19+
Wednesday January 15th – General Meeting night, it’s held downstairs of the Legion in the lounge and starts at 6pm, all are welcome to come.
Friday January 17th – Music Bingo night! It runs from 7pm-10pm. There are cash prizes and some food options! Come down for a fun night of music and bingo! Smiles Guaranteed!
We are also starting up a pool league on Thursday January 23rd. It’s a fun league that will cost 15$ for a 6 month membership and then $2 weekly to play. If you don’t want to become a member that’s okay too, you can play drop in for $4! You don’t have to be a member of the legion to play, so if you have any interest in joining please come to the Lumby Legion on January 23 to find out more information.

If you are looking for a space to host a special event, the legion has a hall upstairs you can rent out. They also have tables and chairs available to rent. You can contact Lori at the Legion at (250) 547-2338 or by email rcl167bc@shaw.ca for more information and prices. Office hours are Monday through Wednesday from 9am to noon.
