How is everyone this week. With this nice weather we can all get out in our yards and start cleaning up from the winter.
On the weekend of March 25th and 26th John Kevener from our Legion went to the Provincial Darts Play downs in Cloverdale to represent the North Okanagan Zone as the singles champion. John did the best he could,but there are lot of really good players from the coast so he came in at the middle of the pack. Better luck next year.
Last we held the Ladies and Mixed Doubles Pool Tournament. The Ladies champion is Samari Beahm and Second place was Lori Mindnich. The Mixed Doubles champions are Lori Mindnich and Rich Richardson, Second place went to Tim and Samira Beahm.
The next event is the House Darts Shoot on April 15th. Registration is at 9:30, play starts at 10: 00, the fee is $15.00 lunch is included. Then it is the Gramma and Grampa Darts Shoot on May 6th. The fee is $40.00, lunch and prizes included. To register call the Legion to get your team in; then be at the Legion by 9:30 play starts at 10:00.
Last week I made a (Type-O), I said the next meeting was on April 10th. The zero is to close to the nine. The next meeting is on April 19th. Sorry about that.
