Sports News:
Congratulations to the winners of the in house dart tournaments. Ladies champion is Lori Mindnich she also won high score, Kathryn Moulding won ladies high finish and mens champion with high score and high finish went to Bob Scott. Another congratulation to the winner of the mens pool tournament, Tim Beahm. Grandma & Grandpa darts will be May 25th. Sign in is at 9:30am, games begin at 10:00am, limited to 19 teams, $40/team to play, a light lunch is included. Must register as a team rcl167bc@shaw.ca or call 250-547-2338.
Seniors pool tournament will be Friday May 10th at 5:00pm. Ladies pool tournament will be Saturday May 11th at 3:00pm, followed by mixed doubles at 6:00pm, $5 per person per event. Must be a member in good standing to participate.
Upcoming Events:
Meat-draws are every Saturday from 3-5pm. There will be a special meat-draw on May 25th to support JW Inglis Elementary School PAC. Musical Bingo is planned for Friday May 3rd from 7-10pm, appetisers will be available for purchase. Karaoke night will be held on Friday May 10th. Thursdays are open jam from 3-5pm, anyone is welcome, so bring your instruments and singing voice. Free pool is available during open hours. You do not need to be a member to come to the Legion, but it is a 19+ venue. Regular lounge hours from 2-6pm
Legion Updates:
The next members meeting will be held on May 15th at 6PM. The Legion still has dates available to rent the cabin at Gardom Lake for all Legion members. The Legion hall upstairs is also available to rent for special events and activities, keep in mind it is a 19+ venue. There are also tables and chairs available to rent.
