Colbert and then Jimmy Kimmel although Jimmy managed to get his job back and I hope Steven will too although Trump will put him on the list to sue. The American Courts are going to be very busy in the near future. Trump seems not to like everything going his way and finds insult and personal threat at every turn. Even a teleprompter failure and an escalator failure sent him into a tail spin of personal malice. Then he gets to the podium and gives the most horrendous, egotistical speech I’ve ever heard at the United Nations. I wonder how (and wish that it had) he would have reacted if every one had got up and walked out on him like they did to Netanyahu of Israel that would have him in a tail spin. He has removed Museums, Schools and other Institutions of any reference to slavery as it never happened. Now espousing the theory from a man with worms in his brain (Kennedy) that no one should take Tylenol as it causes Autism in our offspring and idiots in the Whitehouse. A friend sent me a great joke “If you gave Trump a penny for his thoughts you’d get change back! Of course now he’s pissed at Putin as Putin didn’t stop bombing the Ukraine at make Trump look like a hero. Now Putin has increased his fly zone to include other countries!
We are expecting some rain this week which will be a true blessing. I hope it will amount to more than the odd sprinkle that we’ve had to date. Be sure to water well any trees and shrubs in your yard as I fear that many will be lost to the drought that they have had to endure this summer. The Farmers Almanac is way off as is the La Nino rules of behaviour. Spring bulbs should be planted and Garlic as well in order to establish a good root base before winter. These too should be watered well. Continue to harvest, next week I hope to go into harvest and storage of Herbs.
