We would like to Thank all of our elves, wrappers and cookie helpers. You all worked so hard. Santa is sure proud. We would also like to Thank our amazing Community, Freshmart, Lumby Thrift Store and Dollar Dollar for their donations. Thank you to our contributions for the Raffle; Snac Shac, Julie’s Jams, Frank’s General Store, Bon Bon Freeze and Lora with Ziya. Thank you to Sundowners for the use of the baskets, Ida’s Bakery for the buns and Avenue Pizza for feeding the Elves. Thank you to Lumby Valley Times for the advertisement and my awesome staff at Whitevalley Community Resource Centre for helping with collecting all of the wonderful items.
A huge shout out to Melanie Wenzoski for always spoiling our kids and caring for our community so much. Thank you parents and caregivers for your patience while the little ones experienced the magic. Thank you to my husband and kids for putting up with the workshop in my house and our families for helping move the gifts from A to B.
We sold Approximately 830 gifts and had about 160 shoppers. We were also able to donate gifts to the teens.
Our grand total this year was $2609.05!
This money will be used to sponsor families for Christmas and help with programs through Whitevalley.
I would not have been able to pull this off without my very supportive, wonderful, amazing, beautiful, hard working, organized, awesome team of elves, Magic, Blizzard, Cookie, Sugar Plum and Sprinkles. We make a great team. Cheers to next year!
