Mayor, Council and staff would like to congratulate Tom Kadla on receiving his 35-year service pin for work in municipal government. Tom started his career at the City of Prince George in their environmental services division, continued to work himself up the ladder, taking courses offered through the municipality and furthering his education. In 2008 Tom Kadla and his family then moved to Cache Creek for him to take the position of CAO for a period of three years before moving to Lumby to become the CAO in 2011. During his career as CAO in Lumby, Tom earned his master’s in business administration from Royal Roads University in an accelerated program (18 months), while working at the Village of Lumby. CAO Kadla continues to work tirelessly on making Lumby “Simply the Best”!
