The Charles Bloom Senior Ultimate Frisbee Team is off to Tier 2 Senior High School Provincials this weekend May 28th and 29th in Surrey. The team is comprised of all Grade 12 students and have made quite a name for themselves as a single A school as they competed in a 16 team AA and AAA Tournament in Kamloops in April and went 4-3. In league play they went undefeated. In 2019 Ultimate became a new recognized sport in BC School Sports, Bloom put a team in and competed in AA and AAA and went to those provincials and came back with an 11th place finish. This years squad had athletes on that team and at the time were in grade 9. School sports, Provincial Championships and Ultimate have been on hold since then. So the team hopes to end their high school athletic careers with an Ultimate win with their senior squad.
