Capture the Moment with the ‘Captured Moments’ Photography show

Photography is where art meets science, capturing moments of time with light to create lasting images. Derived from the Greek words photos (light) and graphé (drawing), photography is essentially “drawing with light,” allowing us to preserve fleeting moments for future generations. Since the first permanent photograph, View from the Window at Le Gras, photography has evolved into a powerful tool for storytelling, artistic expression, and documentation. Today, it’s an essential part of how we connect, share, and understand the world around us.
This art form takes the images we are seeing with our own two eyes and may even take for granted and immortalizes them for future generations to see the world as it is now. We see it in our everyday lives on a constant basis from the images in papers, on our social media….it has allowed us to witness critical events of our pasts weather it’s parents or grandparents in their youth, historic world events or things that will never be seen again.
Come see the latest photography exhibition at the Village Gallery, showcasing the incredible diversity of this art form. Whether you’re a photography enthusiast or simply curious about the ways light and lens can capture life, this show promises to be a captivating experience. Don’t miss out on the chance to witness how contemporary photographers are using this timeless medium to tell stories and preserve moments.
