A Win on the Road

U18 Lumby Stars sponsored by Valley Wood were on the road Sunday, November 14 to face off against Salmon Arm 4 (Johnson) at the Hucul Pond Arena.  Jack Laventure opened up the scoring for the Stars with a pass from Jace Catt.  Ryder Quibell picked up a goal from a sweet pass by Colton Young.  It was all Salmon Arm in the second period tying the score up 2-2. Tye Krause was on fire in the third with a hat trick.  Tori Maltman and Ben Gillick both picked up an assist for the afternoon.  Final score was 5-3 Stars. James Wraight had the win between the pipes and made fabulous saves all game.  Player of the game jacket went to James Wraight.  Next game is the North Okanagan Knights tournament starting Friday, November 19 at 2:30 vs Langley in Enderby.
