Sports News:
Darts continues Thursday nights from 7-9pm. Grandma & Grandpa darts will be May 25th. Sign in is at 9:30am, games begin at 10:00am, limited to 19 teams, $40/team to play, a light lunch is included. Must register as a team rcl167bc@shaw.ca or call 250-547-2338. Free pool is available during open hours.
Upcoming Events:
Meat-draws are every Saturday from 3-5pm. There is a special meat-draw this Saturday, May 25th to support JW Inglis Elementary School PAC. Thursdays are open jam from
3-5pm, anyone is welcome, so bring your instruments and singing voice. The next Karaoke will be hosted on Friday, June 21st. The first musical bingo was a success, stay tuned for the next one in July. You do not need to be a member to come to the Legion, but it is a 19+ venue. Regular lounge hours from 2-6pm
Legion Updates:
The Legion will be hosting parking for Lumby days. A big thank-you to Dayton Andrews and Habitat Tree for volunteer wood chipping to help towards getting the parking available for Lumby Days. Anyone who works for Dayton or has veteran plates will be allowed to park for free. We are looking for volunteers to help out for the Lumby days celebrations. If interested, contact the Legion by the phone or email provided below.
The Legion still has dates available to rent the cabin at Gardom Lake for all Legion members. The Legion hall upstairs is also available to rent for special events and activities, keep in mind it is a 19+ venue.
