Our U9 team Williamson took to battle at the tournament held by Vernon this past weekend January 2-4. The games were back to back from Kal Tire to Priest Valley Arena. Our young athletes faced off with Kelowna Valley Vipers, Kamloops Hurricanes, Vernon 4, and Winfield Bruins. With strength and sheer determination, our amazing players hustled hard and battled on.
Over the course of the games, the U9 team showed incredible effort, teamwork and a positive attitude. The players gave it their all, skating hard, moving the puck well, and supporting each other through every opportunity. They treated each other and their opponents with respect and showcased great plays, hard passes, great saves and some beautiful goals. By focusing on learning and skill development instead of the final score, the kids fully embraced the experience, played with confidence and had fun — something that was clear from their big smiles.
