Lumby’s U7 hockey team hit the ice this past weekend at the Hockeysaurus tournament at Rogers Arena in Salmon Arm, showcasing their skills and love for the game in a fun and competitive tournament.
These young players gave it their all playing 3 games in the one day tournament —racing for the puck, making great passes, and celebrating every goal!
Parents and coaches cheered as the team played with determination and teamwork, learning valuable lessons about sportsmanship along the way.
One of the tournament’s highlights was Lumby’s final game against the Winfield Bruins, the final game of the tournament. Where the players skated their hearts out!
No official score was kept, the focus was on effort, improvement, and, most importantly, having fun.
After the final buzzer, the team left the ice with commemorative pucks, smiles, and memories to last a lifetime. Go Lumby!
