Notes From the Lumby Public Market – May 28, 2021

WOW! What a fantastic day this past Saturday at the Lumby and District Public Market. We had 21 Vendors, and about 180 patrons coming through at different times. There were so many different items at the market, and of course everyone enjoyed the Bannock.

Speaking of different items, have you seen our new vendors this year?  Say hello to the Vendor Of The Week: This is their first year at our market, and they have some pretty cool items you need to check out. Their names are Renee and Kodiak. Their business name is HeadSpace Babes. (Even the name is pretty cool.) They had lived in Lumby awhile back, they moved away for a short time then moved back to Lumby in 2019 (welcome back)

in 2018 they had created their business and website with some Essential Oil Rollers. In 2019 after returning to Lumby Renee and Kodiak expanded their business to include other local small businesses as a way to grow their business and support other artists and entrepreneurs. They currently have products made by Lumby or Okanagan small businesses. As of right now, they have some bath bombs that smell divine.  All natural Soaps, Essential Oil Rollers, Macrame Plant Hangers, Scunchies, Cutting Boards, and some really nice Wood Signs. They have a website where you can view some of their items: You will find that a lot of the items are sold at our market.  You can also follow Renee and Kodiak on instagram @headspacebabes or on Facebook. Renee and Kodiak are very friendly people don’t forget to stop by their booth and say hi.

Don’t forget about our other vendors at the market, we have a lot of different jewelry, including necklaces made out of vintage plates. Watkins, Plants, Photography, Crafts, Jams, Victorian Lace, Butterfly Clips for your hair, Books, Garth’s Barnwood Creations, Monashee Arts Council, Bannock, etc. Something for Everyone. Next week we will be having a new vendor join us, she has some fantastic artwork.

Check out our Market we are open every Saturday  until Thanksgiving weekend from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
