The Lumby and District Public Market is back at the Oval Park. We had a great day this past Saturday. There were a lot of plants and flowers with some vegetables and honey. The day started out a little cold, but that is to be expected for this time in May.
We have a lot of vendors that supply something for everyone, including homemade dog biscuits. The dogs that tried some of the samples were quite pleased as they licked their lips and waited for more.
Do you need Tupperware? Our Tupperware lady is back with her Epicure. How about Jam, our jam people are back with their delicious homemade jam. Don’t forget about our popcorn lady who also has her wonderful essential oils from Young Living. How about sprucing up your home, Sam is back with her beautiful flowers and plants she also has a wealth of knowledge about plants. Wendy has some beautiful resin jewelry. Joanne has some really cute knitted and crochet animals. Colleen has her photography and resin work with a lot of Dragons, she also has made some new items with crystals and beads. Garth and his barn wood items should be back next week. Kodiak has made some really cool wood signs this year, Lisa has her nice plants and yummy cookies for people. Don’t forget to listen to our music by our volunteers Mel and Murray.
That is just some of the vendors we have this year along with a couple of new ones. Like Paul who has dragons and other things made from a 3D printer.
We have so many exciting items at our market come and check us out at the Oval Park Saturdays from 9:00 am -1:00 pm
This year is The Year of the Dragon according to the Chinese Zodiac so don’t be surprised if you see a lot of Dragons running around at the market.
