Notes From the Lumby Public Market – May 14, 2021

Well, our market opened on Saturday as planned. We had quite a few vendors.

We had sunshine, then we had wind. Wow did we ever have wind! But no tents were blown away and all the vendors were happy to be there. I noticed all the patrons that came to the market were happy as well. It was good to see you all again.

Thank you to all the Patrons that wore their masks, and followed the arrows we appreciated that.

We had some great vendors there this week, Sam with her beautiful flowers, Dawn had really cool jewelry that she has made from vintage china plates, Nancy had some great masks, Vannesa was there with her yummy Bannack, Garth had his great woodwork items, Kathleen had her Tupperware and Epicure, and so many different vendors with different stuff.

If you didn’t get a chance to come to our market on Saturday don’t worry we will be there until Thanksgiving Weekend, so you have plenty of time to come to our wonderful market.

The Lumby and District Public Market will be opening on May 8 2021 and it will run until Thanksgiving weekend 2021 at the Oval Park

These are the dates we are planning, unless things and dates are changed by Dr. Bonnie Henry.

We are still following the COVID 19 rules. You will still see pylons and sanitizers. Please follow the arrows. All vendors will have sanitizer at their tables, as well with sanitizing tables down the path where the pylons will be placed.
