No Guts No Glory!

The Lumby Stars U11 Female Team participated in the No Guts No Glory U11 Integrated Tournament this past weekend in Vernon.  The Stars took to the ice on Friday evening and finished the night with a win against the Vernon Ice Hawks 5 – 2. Saturday morning they faced the Vernon Viking falling short with a 5 – 3 loss.  The Vernon Moose were next on the schedule for the Lumby Stars.  The Stars came away with a 4 – 2 win, securing 2nd place in their pool.  Sunday morning the girls lost a hard fought battle in their final game against Vernon Knighthawks to place 4th overall (10 team tourney).  The Coaching staff are beyond proud of the grit these girls showed this weekend. They were the only all female team in the tournament.  Come cheer on the Stars this upcoming weekend in their 2nd Annual Monashee Classic U11 Female Tournament at the Pat Duke Arena.  Their opening game Friday November 24 at 1:45 pm.  Let’s fill the barn!
