The next General Meeting of the Monashee 50+Club (OAP Branch 117) will be held on May 8th at 10 a.m. The guest speaker will be Brenda Blanchet.
The Monashee 50+ Club hosted Business after 5 on April 24, 2025. Apologies for the mix-up in days. Because it is such a busy time of year and there were many other events happening in the community, attendance was not as high as expected. The OAP provided refreshments ordered from Freshmart. We would like to thank them for the lovely tray presentation. We welcomed two new business persons who came to meet the guests. Both had a chat with our Regional District Director, who advised them of opportunities in our community and how they could expand by networking through the different organizations. One of these people will be the guest speaker at our June General Meeting. The presentation will centre around Seniors and their pets and pet care.
The opening of the Public Market is just around the corner and Lumby Days draws ever closer.
Monashee 50+ Club needs volunteers to help make our activities for both the Public Market and Lumby Days successful. We would appreciate even one hour of your time. Contact Nancy at 250-558-7087.
There is a tote by the ramp door for any donations of books to replenish our book cart.
