Howdy! I hope all you mothers have a wonderful Mother’s Day and are pampered by your family! There are just a few items to share this week. Kyle our Pharmacist will be our guest speaker at 10:00 am this Thursday May 9th at the OAP Hall. We are hoping for a great turnout and please feel free to ask Kyle any questions you may have. Our General Meeting will follow. As mentioned last week, our General Meetings will be held every second Thursday at 10:00 am. Jacquie Hansen faithfully calls all our members prior to our meetings so really hope you are able to attend.
Our luncheon is next Thursday May 16th with doors opening at 11:00 am and lunch served at 11:30. The meal sounds quite delicious! It’s Salisbury steak, fried onions, gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables, a bun, with apple crisp and ice cream for dessert! We have lost a few of our dedicated ladies who have helped prepare these monthly meals, due to other commitments and moving from Lumby, so would be really happy to have new ladies/gentlemen 50+ join us! Lumby Days is just around the corner and we will be hosting a pancake breakfast both Saturday and Sunday! More details will be provided toward the end of this month.
