The April general meeting of the Monashee 50+ Club (OAP Branch 117) was held on Thursday, April 10th at 10 a.m. We would like to thank our guest speaker, Michael Remington, from the North Okanagan-Shuswap Crime Stoppers. Michael spoke to us about the activities of the Crime Stoppers and some of the success they have had in making our communities safer. The next general meeting of the Monashee 50+Club (OAP Branch 117) will be held on May 8th at 10 a.m.
Don’t forget that the Monashee 50+ Club is hosting Business After Five, on Friday, April 25th. All are welcome.
The Monashee 50+ Club needs volunteers for Lumby Days and the Public Market. Even one hour of your time would be appreciated. The more volunteers we have, the more successful the activities will be.
The grand opening of the new Cottonwood Place, next door to the Hall, is slated for May 15th.
Advance Polls for the upcoming federal election will be at the OAP Hall on Friday, April 18th , Saturday, April 19th, Sunday, April 20th, and Monday, April 21st.
